Have you been out to Fiddler’s Creek recently? If not, you may want to take a drive out there and see all of the new building going on. It is quite impressive. Speaking of impressive, Cranberry Crossing in Fiddler’s Creek is just that. This community is located in the heart of the community, just a short distance past the club and spa. The homes here were built in the mid 2000s and have ample room inside with some as large as 2,100 square feet. In addition, they have beautiful and high end finishes. The homes overlook one of the natural waterways in Fiddler’s Creek.

Hello everyone,
Drought? Not anymore. Today was a unique day in Marco Island. In the 30 years of living here, I have never seen so much rain accumulate so fast in my entire life. The rain began last night and did not let for hours. It came down in buckets, then lightened up, then came more driving rain. There are road closures on the island due to flooding. In addition, there is more rain on the horizon. We wanted to remind everyone to take a few minutes extra when driving around the area today and to be safe.

Have you ever been to the Farmer’ Market on Marco Island? If not, I know what you should be doing any Wednesday in season. The Farmer’s Market is located at Veteran’s Park near the center of the island. On Wednesday mornings, lots of local vendors show up to display their items. Whether you are looking for fresh produce, some candles, want try some of the local flavor of the island or just want to walk around with your dog, this is a great way to spend your morning! Restaurant Row in Naples has just expanded! Did you know that Texas Roadhouse has opened its doors in the past week? Texas Roadhouse describes themselves as a, “lively chain steakhouse serving American fare with a southwestern spin amid Texas-themed decor.” Where is restaurant row? It is located at the corner of State Road 951 (Collier Boulevard) and 41. No matter what kind of food you are in the mood for, this part of our community is growing on a daily basis with more and more options!

Hello Everyone,
We wanted to give you an update on a couple upcoming events around the island. First, if you haven’t been to the Marco Island Farmer’s Market, there are only a couple remaining so make sure you head out there on a Wednesday morning this month.
Looking for something unique to do on Easter Sunday this year? Try out the Marco Island Easter Sunrise Service on the Beach. It starts at 7am on April 16th. You will be amazed by how many attendees there are each and every year! This year there are four different featured speakers. Don’t forget to bring your chair or blanket! The beach can be accessed through the JW Marriott Resort.
Lastly, do you like ribs? On Saturday, April 22nd, the Marco Island Police Foundation will be hosting their annual Rib cook-off at the Marco Island Brewery. This is a great event that starts at noon! We hope to see you at one of these city events this month!
