Today we wanted to share with you a little information about lots in Marco Island. Currently on Marco Island, there are 229 waterfront lots for sale. All of these lots listed have access to the Gulf of Mexico. For those of you that are unfamiliar with our canal system, we break our lot types into two categories, direct access and indirect access. The difference is that on direct access lots, there are no bridges to go under in order to get out to the open water. With indirect access, there are bridges to go under which can restrict the height of the boat you can have i.e. sail boats and power boats with flybridges. The chart below is a breakdown of sales in the first quarter of the past few years. As you can see, Q1 sales in 2016 were a little behind pace but we are optimistic about Q2.
