A we roll into June, we roll into summer here in Marco Island, Florida. The weather is warming up, the afternoon showers are rolling in and many projects around the island commence in order to keep our island beautiful. We wanted to take a moment and share a couple different projects currently going on around us. Have you been out to the beach lately on Marco? If so, you may have seen a couple bulldozers out there on the north end of the beach. There is currently a beach renourishment project going on that is a two phase project. The first phase involves Hideaway beach and the second part involves pumping sand between Tigertail beach and Residents Beach.
In other news around the island, the city council approved to put in a new light on the island. It will be at the corner of Saturn Court and Collier Boulevard.
