Marco Island Waterfront Homes – March Statistics 2016

Hello Everyone,

Today we would like to share with you some statistics comparing March, 2016 to the past couple years. This March was a little off pace with the total number of homes sold as compared to the past couple years here in Marco Island. The chart below is a breakdown of the sales prices of waterfront homes in Marco.

March Stats 

The graph shows a total of 18 sales of waterfront homes in Marco Island in 2016. By comparison, March, 2015 had 32 sales and March, 2014 had 35 sales. While the total number of sales was down, the average price of the home was very consistent with the 2015 number. In March, 2015 the average sales price was $1,000,179. March, 2016 had an average sales price of 999,198.

So what does all this mean? Judging by the way the phones are ringing this April, I think we are in for a very busy and very exciting summer. These past 10 days have been the busiest in our office all year with people looking to both buy and sell property here in paradise.
